Hi,
I am hoping to obtain my PPL and hope that you can direct me to a list of PPL doctors to obtain the necessary certificate.

At this moment there is still some doubt regarding the French medical system.
As discussed previously on this site, the CAA do not recognise the French class 2 medical because it does not reach JAR standards.
The DGAC has recently overhauled their system to comply with European standards.
I am awaiting a reply from the CAA to determine if this new medical it is now acceptable to them.
I can give you a list of French doctors if you are considering embarking on a French PPL.
Usually a list of doctors can be found at your local Aeroclub.

There is now a link to a list of French Authorised Medical Examiners on the 'Aviation Links' section of this blog.
