Hi John

Thank you for your message.

In answer to your questions, Yes,I have flown in to Clermont Ferrand many times, it has always been a pleasure to land there.

The staff are all friendly and helpful and some speak English!

I have never eaten in the restaurant as I have always visited the old part of town and eaten outside, in one of the excellent restaurants in the cathedral area.

I would be grateful for a story when you return from your flight in France.

If you consider a GA flight to Clermont Ferrand, don't forget to ask for the LIMA parking which is located in front of the "Aéroclub d'Auvergne"

Otherwise you will be parked between commercial jets and charged with overpriced handling, not to mention the mandatory shuttle.

You can pay your landing fees at the aeroclub at a discounted price. BP fuel truck is to be asked either by phone or on operations frequency, you may wait refuelling a little bit during rush hours.

I confirm a friendly and helpful airport staff.

Have a good flight !
