I have just heard the sad news that Sue Virr died yesterday, after several weeks in hospital.
Sue will remembered by a large population of pilots who have flown with the Aeroclub de Limoges where she was a very successful English-language flying instructor.
She also made a great contribution to the launch of this blog.
The Funeral is on Wed 19th Oct at Crematorium de la Villa de Limoges, Le Cavou, Landouge, 87100 Limoges at 0930 (changed to 0900).
The funeral time is now 0900 on 19th October not 0930 as originally announced. Sue's untimely demise has shocked us all.

Such terrible and sad news. She was a fantastic person and it was a pleasure to have known her and to have flown with her, even though it was only for a short time. I am so sorry to hear of this. If it wasn't for Sue, I would not have been able to have got my PPL.

Hello All,
Sue's children did her proud today and gave her a send off any mum would be proud of. For me, the chance to say goodbye and see some old friends and make a few new ones made the 5am start worth while. Good bye Sue, we will all miss you very much.

I was watching "little England" a show on tv today. I was so impressed by a wonderful adventurous lady called Sue Virr, I decided to look her up on the Internet and was shocked and saddened to hear she died a few days ago. I am sure she will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
